18 Days

Eighteen days left until the CIM, and I’m already losing sleep over it.  I want to qualify for Boston so that I can enjoy future races without this damn qualifying time hanging over my head.  Whether I actually get to run Boston is beside the point.  I just need to prove to myself that I can do it.  Quite honestly I’m not all that keen on traveling all the way to Boston just to run a marathon.  I have so many more I want to run (e.g., Napa, Newport – OR, Big Sur, St. George) because of their beautiful sceneries.

Just a while ago I signed up for the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach in February 2014 for no other reason than the pretty medal and finisher tee.

Crazy right?  But I just want to really start enjoying the races without the pressure.

I am starting to like running a lot! Too bad I have to rest! Weird that I am saying that. Never thought I would be one to like running. It’s a sense of accomplishment when you beat your own records! Doing better every time. But I also think.. that’s probably what killed me. HAHAHAHAH

Weird, your comment went to spam.
Running can get quite addictive. Your brother always tells me to go for a run when I’m getting a little moody, because he knows it’s the only thing that can turn me around.
      Hope your ankle’s better.
