Tomorrow J’s going to start the stucco work on the perimeter walls, and I’ll be painting the beams.  Hopefully we’ll get the plants and rocks in by end of next week, and we’ll be ready for our first visitors Labor Day Weekend.

Holy cow that looks amazing!!! You can sleep outside on a nice night. You can add an outdoor fireplace. Who designed it? So cool…

The fireplace is next to the dining table.
The contractor and J drew up the layout, but I picked out the stone, made changes to the lighting & glass designs. Of course I didn’t pull it all out of thin air. I looked around the neighborhood, and checked out Houzz.com, which has tons of great ideas.

Haha. You’re more popular than the Grand Canyon!! Do you have a calendar of your openings for the rest of the year? We’re thinking of heading there when we go to Taiwan.

J’s friends are coming first week of Sept, my friends are coming second week of Oct, and the FIL is coming first week of Nov. We’re away the first week of Dec.
