Memorial Day Weekend

Having friends over gave us the chance to check out places we would normally not bother.  One of those places being LA.  I can think of 2 deterrents – the traffic and the crowds.  Thankfully, S was doing all of the driving so all I had to do was to sit back and relax.

The boys had to pose with the Bruce Lee star.

A trip to LA is not complete without a shot of the Hollywood sign.

Jacaranda trees in full bloom all over the city.

Dinner was at Sushi Gen in Little Tokyo.  It’s been a long time I’ve had such fresh fish (the last time was either in Hawaii or Tokyo), and I highly recommend this place if you ever find yourself in LA and are in the mood for sushi.  The wait is long, but well worth it.
