What Does Christmas Mean To Us?

An extra day to sleep in late and take care of what needs to be taken care of.  While everyone is busy getting ready for Christmas, J&I have finally found time from our busy schedules to do a thorough cleaning of the house.  Life is too short not to have a maid, but let’s be honest, we’re too cheap.  So instead of hiring the ‘European House Cleaning Maid Service’ that advertises ‘hands and knee cleaning’, we did our own.

Free 'hands and knees' cleaning service.

Of course, just because we don’t celebrate Christmas doesn’t mean we can’t have a Christmas eve dinner.

The prerequisite holiday ham from Costco...eight pounds of heaven.

Our Christmas eve meal with a 2008 Beringer cab (also from Costco).

J made the sides (mash and tomato/basil), both of which we decided were tastier than the ham itself.

Now we have enough ham to last us well into next year.
