Italian At Home

We decided that we would eat in more often as eating out is getting to be more expensive these days.  Why the cost of eating out here in CA is comparable to that of NYC is beyond me.  I would understand if the food here tastes just as good as in the city, but it doesn’t.  So it must be due to inflation, which the government vehemently denies.

Here are some pasta dishes J made…

Pasta e fagioli.

Recipe can be found at  Instead of fresh tomatoes (I used it all when I made tomato & eggs), J used extra tomato sauce.

J's own pasta w/ sauteed sausage (from Costco) and mushroom, tossed with fresh tomato and basil.
