Grin And Bear It

After a sleepless night dreaming and thinking about my running injury I’ve decided to do what’s best for my body.  I’m going to take a week off from running, as I don’t want an acute injury to progress to a chronic problem that’ll prevent me from running for the rest of my life.  After doing much researching on the subject, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to do the following:

1. Stop running for a week
2. Minimize hill running
3. Slow down my pace
4. Switch back to my stability shoes
5. Do negative calf raises

Hopefully, these small modifications will help head off worsening of the problem and not negatively affect my training and time.
