No Going Back

It’s official, I’m a wimp.  After having lived in Southern AZ for the past 4 years I have lost all tolerance to cold.  Back in NYC I used to wake up on winter mornings and run in below-30 degree weather.  Now, I shudder at the thought of running in 40 degree weather.
Last night a storm passed through our area, and we found out that today’s morning low was going to be 39F.  So, without giving it a second thought, I moved my scheduled run to tomorrow afternoon, when the temperature will be in the balmy mid-60s.  At this point, there is no way I’ll be able to live anywhere where the weather isn’t comfortably warm, which basically rules out all states north of the sun belt; and since I will never live in any of the ‘bible belt’ states, I’m essentially limited to Southern CA, AZ, and parts of NM.

By the way, yesterday’s storm is heading towards you guys on the East Coast.  Enjoy!
