Punta del Este

We managed to spend a relaxing day at Punta del Este today.  Ran late in the morning, grabbed some lunch and took a stroll on the beach late afternoon.

The town isn’t quite bustling with tourists yet (that’s another 3 weeks), but it appears there’s some kind of triathlon that’s planned for Sunday, because there were quite a few runners and cyclists on the roads.
We checked out some of the interesting landmarks at Punta del Este, such as the Carlos Paez Vilario’s Casapueblo, and Mario Irrarazabal’s ‘La Mano’.
