An Improvement

The Clif Shot seems promising.  Did my 9.6 miles this morning and had no problems.  I’ll have to test it out again during longer runs just to be on the safe side.  One thing I wasn’t sure about was whether the Clif Shot offered me the same ‘kick’ as the other 2 gels had, as I felt a bit more sluggish this morning.  I’ll have to pay more attention next time.  On a different note, the downhill course that I ran on sunday tore up my quads.  Even with a day’s rest in between runs, my quads were protesting this morning.  I have another 5 mile tempo run tomorrow morning, hopefully the quads will be OK by then.
