Eats in San Diego

Hash House A Go-Go: Super sized HH Original eggs benedict, enough to feed a whole family.  Mashed potatoes were flavorful, but the biscuits were doughy and powdery.

Cafe Chloe: Mussels and fries for breakfast. Fries were great with subtle amounts of fried green onions, but broth was lacking in flavor.

Dumpling Inn: Looks like a ‘dump’, but food delicious and authentic.  Marinated pig ear strips and potstickers.
Taste 8/10

Savory: Nice quaint bistro in Encinitas with wonderful food and excellent service.  Try the duck confit or the crab crusted sea bass.  The duck leg was crispy, served with sausage with braised green lentils with bacon & mushrooms.  Butterscotch pastry with roasted pears and vanilla ice cream was perhaps one of the BEST dessert I’ve ever had.
Taste: 10/10
