While in SF this past weekend we stayed at the Hyatt Regency SFO in Burlingame. Since I had no desire to drive in downtown SF and I wanted a place close to the airport, I thought I’d give this hotel a shot. The hotel was huge, but I had the feeling it was only partially occupied. Saw a lot of flight crew staying at the place. Hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport (where you can transfer to the BART at the international terminal) that runs every 10-15 minutes. Parking is $20 a day with unlimited in and out of the garage.
Bed was comfortable, hotel clean, but there was no in-room safe.
Our room has a tiny balcony overlooking the atrium.
Bathroom. Sister liked the square sink. This was the only other hotel I’ve stayed at that provided toothpaste (the other hotel was in Ginza, Japan).
View of all the rooms facing the atrium
View of the atrium and restaurant seating
Sitting area in the room. Would have been nice had they offered free WiFi. One needs a T-mobile account to sign on.
View of the bay
Escalator leading up to the atrium. Reminded me of San Diego zoo for some reason.
Fitness room looking out to the outdoor pool, which was on the small side.
Seating in the atrium. The place was empty. I guess most people were in the city.
