J went to California for the weekend and stayed at The Island Hotel Newport Beach. He said the hotel itself is a bit dated, not like most of the other more modern hotels we tend to stay at. However, the service was exceptional.

Here’s a planned community around a man-made lake. Asphalt path…much better on the joints. It was foggy and drizzly both mornings, but cleared up mid-day.
